That will bring a lot of fun, health and good times I’m sure! i Phone, ID, a notebook, pencils and pens, Mac Book, a book or two, Go Pro, my Canon AE-1 and film, some O’Neill clothes and the excitement to travel. Not the gangster stuff, but songs with great lyrics.

Spending a great day of wakeboarding and/or other sports, good food, great people, learning the lessons of life and other fulfilling pursuits. Or I would be studying right now after a year of backpacking through the world. What has been the scariest moment in your sport career?

If we visited you at breakfast, what would you be eating? Looking back on some What-if-crashes is pretty humbling.

One pretty embarrassing moment was like 6 years ago at my first time at FISE in Montpellier, France. Getting woken up by the sun that is shining through the window promising a nice day.

I was wandering through the event site, while they ran the contest faster than scheduled. My dad found me and shouted at me in front of all these people. Running and some exercises before a nice breakfast. Spending some hours at home, cooking with my girlfriend or barbecue with friends.

I had a break for 2 years, but luckily O’Neill took me back on the team in 2012. Trying a trick again and again just to get the shot a 100% the way you want it, doesn’t really make sense.

But even if those last 15% are not visible to most, they are that unreasonable drive to push myself further. Some contest results have been great highlights of course, but filming for my video part in The Debut and then finally seeing it in a cinema premiere has been really overwhelming. Focus on doing things I love the way I love to do them and leaving out stuff that makes me feel uncomfortable.Advertisers are not allowed to run annoying ads on RYM.You can use this form to report problematic or annoying ads.If you are still on the page where the annoying ad was (or still is) displayed, then proceed to fill out this form.If the ads navigated you to another page, then use the back button to navigate back to the exact page where the problem started and submit from there. There is a lot more to life than just wakeboarding or expressing yourself in action sports, but still, it is a damn big part for me. Growing up at a cable park left me no choice but to be put on a board before I could make my own decisions haha. It has rather been a progress than an exact decision.
